We are not a new Scoop site per se, but we have just added services, and have upgraded to the latest Scoop, and Slash 2.2.1. With the added capacity in the move to our new server as a result of the demise of Engaging.Net, we have decided to also enter the hosting market. Private (.org, .us, .cx, etc) individules and non profit organizations can host for $24.95 a month with no setup fee and no long term contract.

This will include 3 email accounts and shell access. Business / Governmental rates will be more, and based on useage / need / additional services. Please contact us for a quote / bid on your commercial / governmental hosting needs. In the meanwhile, we will be showcasing geekizoid as a demonstration of how a slash or scoop site works, at slash.geekizoid.com and in the near future at scoop.geekizoid.com. We may also add postnuke hosting if there is a demand for it. We use FreeBSD 4.4 for stability and security for all hosting solutions.

I would be interested if Geekizoid can support Postgres SQL as backend database engine for Scoop. There is already Postgres Scoop set up by denshi.
