Unable to get dynamic comments working

I recently upgraded my site to v0.9. But I cannot get dynamic comments to work, and I cannot find any documentation available anywhere.

| I looked at kuro5hin, and added the <script> tag as well as the <iframe> tag, but my dyn_*.gif images don't appear, and their links don't work. I tried inserting onload="copyContent |mainpid|,|dynamicmode|)" into the <body> tag, since that's what the dynamic_template block has, but it didn't work and kuro5hin doesn't have that, so I removed it again. I've gone through all the vars and blocks, and I've gone through all of the kuro5hin HTML source, and I can't figure out what I'm missing. Since my "dynamic insertion" links are obviously messed up, I'm thinking that |COMMENTS| may be wrong, or may rely on something else that's messed up. But what? The only blocks I see that are relevant are:
dynamic_collapse_bottom_link: <img src=|imagedir|/dyn_colb.gif width=12 height=12 ALT=- border=0>
and
dynamic_loading_link: <img src=|imagedir|/dyn_wait.gif width=12 height=16 ALT=x border=0>
And the only seemingly relevant vars are:
allow_dynamic_comment_mode, which is checked.
Any help would be most appreciated.
