Scoop hosting for modified versions of Scoop Bugs

I apologize in advance if this is the wrong section to post this in.

I have a server running Scoop that will be 'going away' and I have been looking around to find a webhoster to run it for me. Problem is that I changed a bit of the code to suit my needs so it is no longer stock Scoop code. Does anyone know of a hoster that can run this for me? I can combine all the code into one variable to make things easier, I suppose.

I know you're going to ask, so here's a brief description on what I changed:

* added code for statistic calculations for hockey site I run (may be going away, so it's not that big of a deal)
* code to return the last $num comments from a story id (so that I could run different boxes off sections with section specific forums and not go crazy trying to make changes to each box and have them homogenized)
* changed some of the html that was generated by the Scoop code so that it was optional (like the Next Story links)
* user customizable images for the Diaries section
* regex in the RDF fetcher to remove "Customize this feed' text from NewsIsFree website
* changed ordering in sub displaystatus_select to desc
* added new getstories type (seven links)

I'm sure there's some other stuff, but that's all I can come up with from memory. Now, before you go and blast me for not making them boxes, I put these in the Scoop code because I didn't want to have incredibly convoluted boxes full of code for each of the sites I was running. I could just host the one or I might host them all, but I wanted multiple instances of the same code in one place so that I could edit it once and be done with it.

That said, any suggestions on what I should do or where to look for hosting?

...You're answer is in the upper right hand corner of every page here.
If you require control over which version and/or wish to modify the scoop codebase, we can give you your own apache process for a one time charge of $25. However, as newer versions are in a perpetual state of change, nobody guarantees that the version you download will work. We will do our best to help you, but we assume you know what you are doing.
I had been considering a colo for my future scoop site, but XLan looks so much more attractive since I really don't anticipate the need for more complimicated features than what .9 and .8 offer. If I never decide I do...$25 is a frelling deal.

We might be able to help with that - it depends.  If you're looking for a dedicated server, try John Companies, http://www.johncompanies.com/. They rock.

But... We do modified versions of scoop. My site is extensivly modified and runs fine! Basically the $25 "fee" is because we can't vhost you with the other scoop processes. In order to modify the core of scoop, you would break everybody else running on that apache process. As we say, we can't support your own custom code, but I know my way through scoop code pretty well and can at least advise you lest something goes wrong.

Regardless, let me know what you think.
