At what point is a YASS inappropriate? Developer Diary

I have set up a web server on my machine, and installed scoop on it. Mostly this is to archive funny slashdot troll posts and personal thoughts I don't want to entrust to husi.

Given the highly wanky nature of the site, a YAS would or would not be appropriate?

What are you lots' thoughts?

When to post a YASS (5.00 / 1) (#1)
by janra on Sat May 01, 2004 at 10:47:54 AM PST

When your Scoop site is set up to the point where you want to start getting visitors.

Of course, if it's NSFW you should note that, otherwise just announce it.

(My criteria for voting on YASS is: is it a Scoop site? +1 section)

to mention it w/out mentioning it? to get some feelers on the whole idea?

if so, you forgot the URL.

if you want us to check it out, post the link. if not, don't. ;)
