It is still a little bit kludgy. Part of this is my own inadequacies and part is due to the relative newness of the Google Map API. It seems to be okay under firefox but of course Internet Explorer still has some issues. I do not use windows so this may be a difficult aspect to address.
At any rate, it is a first shot at integrating maps into scoop. As far as I know this makes scoop the first geographically aware blogging system.
Finally, kudos to the scoop developers. This was a relatively easy thing to do. The scoop system is very flexible and well documented.
