Scoop 1.1 has been released!

We're pleased to announce the release of Scoop 1.1 offering significant new
functionality to users as well as inproved flexibility and scalability for
site owners.
Features:
- Optional multiple selection polls
- Massively improved session management
- Flexible admin-configurable user preferences system
- Collaborative event calendar module
- Flexible macro execution management similar to HTML tags management
- Custom submission/post messages per section
- Tag Taxonomy for authors and readers including a fill tag cloud
- Shared database support for (limited) shared account management etc.
Scoop Release 1.1 can be downloaded as:
scoop_1.1.tar.gz

Via CVS, you can retrieve the 1.1 release using the following commands:
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@scoop.versionhost.com:/cvs/scoop login

For reference, here's a full list of bugs resolved between release 1.0 and 1.1.
Plans for 1.2: (Full List)
The key feature will be enhanced support
for Apache 2.0/2.2. We're also working on better box/block version control and comprehensive plugin framework. The Apache2 support will be key to the 1.2 release which we plan to make within the next 6 months (rather than the 18 month release window we've seen in the past).
